Playlin'sGuide

WhereTaken USA is a daily geography challenge where your mission is to identify the US state from a single photograph. Each puzzle presents a scenic or iconic image, and your goal is to guess the correct state before running out of tries.

  • You start with one photo and unlimited guesses.
  • After each wrong guess, the image sharpens slightly to help narrow down the location.
  • Complete the main round to unlock the first bonus round.
  • Finish each bonus round to access the next one.
  • A new game drops every day at 0:00 AM local time.
  • Green and yellow squares show proximity percent: 🟩 = 20%, 🟨 = 10%.
  • Distances are calculated between state centers, not borders.

Why we like it:

  • βœ…It blends geography with visual storytelling in a fun and addictive format.
  • βœ…The progressive image clarity keeps you engaged and guessing until the end.
  • βœ…Bonus rounds add extra challenge and replay value to each daily puzzle.

Hint: Start with broad visual cues like landscape type, climate indicators, or regional features. The photo may not show the state’s most famous landmark, so think regionally first.
