Video Game Bandle is a daily music puzzle where you identify a video game song and the game it's from as a MIDI band plays it one instrument at a time.
You start with drums only. The track sounds thin, maybe unrecognizable. Each wrong guess adds another instrument to the mix, fleshing out the melody until you either crack it or hit six tries. Your goal is to name both the song and the game.
- You have 6 guesses to identify the song and game.
- Round 1 starts with drums only. Each wrong guess adds a new instrument.
- Type your guess for the song title or game name. Autocomplete helps as you type.
- Even wrong guesses unlock helpful clues: if you guess a game from the same year, console, or series, that info is revealed.
- A new song drops every day from the video game music archive.
Why we like it:
- β That eureka moment when the second or third instrument clicks everything into place.
- β Wrong guesses still reward you with useful metadata about era, platform, and series.
- β Perfect for anyone who grew up humming video game soundtracks.
Hint: The drums rarely give much away. Wait for strings or melody instruments before committing to a guess, unless you're certain. And if you're stuck, try guessing a well known game from the same console generation to unlock clues.
