Playlin'sGuide
Shikaku of the Day is a daily logic puzzle where your mission is to divide the grid into rectangular and square regions that match the numbers shown.
Each number represents the exact area of a single rectangle (or square) that must include that number.
Every region:
- must be a perfect rectangle or square,
- must contain exactly one number, and
- must use exactly that many cells.
Your goal is to partition the entire grid with no overlaps and no empty cells.
There is a new puzzle every day, with multiple difficulty levels to choose from.
Why we like it:
- β A clean, pure logic puzzle with no guessing required.
- β Scales beautifully from quick warm-ups to serious brain burners.
- β The daily format makes it easy to build a solving habit.
Hint: Start with the smallest and largest numbers first, they usually have the fewest possible rectangle placements.
