Right Words is a twice-weekly word puzzle where your mission is to trace two-word phrases across a letter grid, jumping the gap between the first and second word.
Each puzzle presents a grid of scattered letters. Hidden inside are multiple two-word phrases like βMint Julepβ or βApple Pie.β You trace each phrase by selecting letters in order, but here's the twist: there's always a gap between the two words. Every tile on the grid belongs to exactly one answer, so solved phrases help narrow down what's left.
- Drag or tap to trace letters in sequence for each phrase.
- Each answer is a two-word phrase.
- There's a gap between words. You jump over empty space or unused letters to continue tracing the second word.
- Every tile is used exactly once across all answers.
- Submit when you've found each phrase.
- New puzzles drop every Monday and Friday.
- Use Clue to reveal a nudge phrase for the current answer.
- After using Clue, the button becomes Hint. You can press Hint twice to reveal both halves of the answer.
- Still stuck? Use Reveal Phrase to see the full answer and keep moving.
Why we like it:
- β The gap mechanic adds a satisfying layer of spatial reasoning to word hunting.
- β Knowing every tile has a home turns the endgame into a tidy logic puzzle.
- β The clue-to-hint flow keeps the puzzle approachable without giving everything away too quickly.
- β Twice weekly is the perfect cadence for something this brain-bendy.
Hint: Look for obvious words or words anchored near corners. Once you lock in just one pair, the remaining words start to get easier to see, and that perfect tile coverage rule becomes your best friend.
