Playlin'sGuide
Pixletters is a Wordle-style word game where your clues show up as colored pixels on dot-matrix letters.
Your goal: guess the hidden 5-letter word in 5 tries.
After each guess, each letter position displays pixel feedback:
- π΅Blue pixels = this letter is correct in this spot.
- π’Green pixels = the real letter in this spot MUST contain these pixels.
- π΄Red pixels = the real letter in this spot MUST NOT contain these pixels.
- βͺGray pixels = unknown for now (could be on or off).
As you make more guesses, more pixel rows get revealed, so each letter becomes easier to identify.
Modes:
- PLUS: pixels reveal by rows or columns based on arrow directions, and each new word reveals more.
- PRO: only one row or one column is revealed per guess (hard mode brain food).
Why we like it:
- β Wordle vibes with a fresh visual twist.
- β Feels like logic + typography had a baby.
- β Super satisfying when a letter βclicksβ from the pixels.
Hint: Treat each letter like a constraint puzzle. One green pixel can eliminate a surprising number of possibilities.
