Flipping Letters is a daily word puzzle that challenges you to guess a 5-letter word using a set of letter tiles that can be flipped 180 degrees to reveal entirely different letters.
You're given a grid of tiles, each showing a letter. Your job is to select five of them to spell the target word. The catch: some letters, when rotated upside down, become other letters. A "u" becomes an "n." A "p" becomes a "d." A "w" becomes an "m." That flipping mechanic is your secret weapon and your main obstacle.
- Tap tiles to build your 5-letter word.
- Use the spin button (β») to rotate tiles 180Β° and see their hidden letters.
- Submit your guess. If you're wrong, try again.
- Only the tiles provided can be used, so you're working within constraints.
- A new word drops every day.
The puzzle isn't timed, so you can experiment. Flip everything once to map out your full inventory, then start testing combinations.
Why we like it:
- β The flipping mechanic adds a spatial reasoning layer most word games skip entirely.
- β Constrained tile sets make every puzzle feel like a little logic problem.
- β Short enough to solve in a few minutes, but satisfying when it clicks.
Hint: Flip all your tiles first to see both sides of your letter inventory. Knowing you have both a "u" and an "n" from the same tile changes how you approach the word.
