Playlin'sGuide
Agent Caesar is a daily codebreaking puzzle where your mission is to decrypt an intercepted message using Caesar-style cipher blocks.
Each block has a shift value, like +8 or -6, and a length. Drag blocks onto the encrypted track to shift those letters through the alphabet and reveal the hidden message.
Some spaces need overlapping blocks to decode correctly, so placement matters.
How it works:
- Read the casefile for story clues and context.
- Drag cipher blocks from the tray onto the message track.
- Each block shifts the letters it covers by its listed value.
- Large block segments cover 5 characters, small segments cover 1.
- Correctly decrypted letters fill green.
- A perfect score means solving with no more moves than the number of blocks.
Why we like it:
- β Makes Caesar ciphers feel like a tactical spy puzzle.
- β The block placement adds real logic beyond simple decoding.
- β The retro terminal style gives the whole thing great secret-agent energy.
Hint: Look for short words, punctuation, and likely casefile terms first, then use overlaps to fine-tune the stubborn letters.
